2. Accessing the website

When you visit our website, technically necessary data is processed so that the site can be displayed, operated securely and protected against misuse. This includes in particular your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer URL, browser type and browser version, operating system and requesting host.

This processing is carried out for the provision of the website, error analysis and IT security on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Insofar as processing is strictly necessary for the technical provision of the website, it may also be based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

The data is stored only for a limited period as required for security, stability and troubleshooting and is then deleted or anonymised.

3. Contacting us

If you contact us by contact form, email, telephone or post, we process the information you provide in order to handle your request and communicate with you. This may include in particular your name, contact details, company information and the content of your message.

The processing is carried out for pre-contractual measures or contract performance on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to this. Otherwise, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in orderly communication and handling of enquiries.

Where mandatory fields are requested in forms, these are required in order to process your enquiry. Any further information is voluntary. We store your data only for as long as necessary to process your request and to comply with any statutory documentation or retention obligations.

4. Forms and spam protection

We use technical form components for form functions on our website. In addition, Google reCAPTCHA may be used to protect our forms against automated entries and misuse. In this context, in particular your IP address, referrer, browser information, input behaviour and other technical data required for abuse detection may be transmitted to Google.

The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and abuse-free operation of our contact and seminar forms.

5. Cookies and consent management

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. These are small files or pieces of information that are stored on or read from your device. They are used either because this is technically necessary or on the basis of your consent.

We use a consent management tool to manage your cookie choices. In this context, your consent decision, the time of your decision, browser information and technically necessary proof information may in particular be processed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR insofar as we must document consent, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in a legally compliant control of cookies and services used on the website.

Technically necessary or functional cookies may in particular be used for language settings, storing your consent choices and technical session functions. On our website this includes in particular cookies such as pll_language, CookieLawInfoConsent, viewed_cookie_policy, cookielawinfo-checkbox-* and, where applicable, other technically necessary functional or preference cookies. Where storing or reading information is technically necessary, this is based on Section 25(2) TDDDG. Otherwise, such technologies are used only with your consent pursuant to Section 25(1) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

6. External fonts

Our website currently integrates fonts via Google Fonts. When the page is loaded, a connection to Google servers may therefore be established. In this process, your IP address and technical connection data may in particular be processed.

The processing is carried out in the interest of a consistent and technically clean presentation of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR insofar as the integration is used without separate consent. If a consent-based integration is used in the future, the processing will be based exclusively on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

7. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Recipients of personal data may include technical service providers that we use for hosting, maintenance, form handling, consent management, security functions and the presentation of the website.

Where data is transferred to service providers outside the EU or EEA, this is done only within the scope permitted by law under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used. You can request further information using the contact details above.

8. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as required for the respective purposes or as long as statutory retention obligations apply. After the respective purpose no longer applies or after statutory periods have expired, the data is deleted or blocked.

9. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have in particular the following rights:

  • Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR
  • Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR
  • Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR
  • Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR

If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@xolcon.com.
